Corporate Social Responsibility

A strong Corporate Social Responsibility policy is a key focus in The Test People's company strategy. We believe it leads to a healthier, happier team feeling of well-being and overall purpose. At TTP we take our position in society very seriously and are always looking for ways in which we can give something back to the local community.

The goal of our CSR policy is to embrace responsibility for our actions and encourage a positive impact through activities that we carry out on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere.

The commitments that we undertake are always anchored in our core values and are always causes that are close to the heart of the company.

Candlelighters

Who are Candlelighters?

Established in 1976, Candlelighters is a charity formed and run by parents of children who have or have had cancer, ex-patients and the medical staff who treat them. Based in Yorkshire, Candlelighters provides essential services and support to children with cancer and their families.

What have TTP done for the charity?

In September of 2011, four TTP employees, including the MD, Gav Winter, were part of a team of 11 who successfully climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.

Months of fundraising and training finally paid off in September when all four made it to the summit along with 5 of the other team members.
At the last count the total raised by all 11 was £26,000 with a colossal £9,641 of that total being raised by TTP.

This was a great achievement by all involved and the money raised will go a long way to helping those children with cancer and their families.

As well as climbing Kili, TTP leant their support to Candlelighters again, this time by purchasing a table at their annual ‘Candy Ball’.

The event was a great chance for those who participated in the climb to see how the money raised will be used to help and the charity cheque was presented to Candlelighters on the night.

TTP are proud of their association with Candlelighters and will continue to support them in as many ways possible.

Through prestigious bi-monthly networking events the reach of the group continues to grow as more influential business people join and recommend MAG-net to their peers.
