Performance Test Engineer

The Test People Ltd have an immediate vacancy for a performance engineer. We would also be interested in talking to recent IT graduates or strong all round IT professionals.

The Test People Ltd have an immediate vacancy for an Automation Test Analyst. The objective of an Automation Test Consultant is to develop automated test scripts from documented manual test scripts. As such the Automation Test Consultant must gain a deep understanding of the functional areas assigned to them to ensure all manual tests are understood and to become an expert in the relevant business areas.

Test Consultant

The Test People have an immediate vacancy for a Test Consultant. The objective of a Test Consultant is to analyse the functional areas assigned to them to ensure all requirements are understood and to become an expert in the relevant business areas. The Test Consultant will produce complete test cases to ensure full scope and coverage has been achieved.

Automation Test Consultant

The Automation Test Consultant will analyse manual test cases to ensure they are good automation candidates and that each automated test will produce the expected benefit.

The Test Consultant will report directly to their respective Senior Automation Consultant.

The responsibilities of this role are as follows:

Writes automated test scripts using functional automation tools using agreed standards and tools
Documents scripts to agreed standards
Performs maintenance on own and others automated test scripts
Executes and schedules automated test runs as required
Examines test logs and investigates any faults found during test runs
Logs issues found in software under test
Works closely with other team members to gather automated testing requirements
Informs other teams of faults found when required
Represents TTP at meetings with client teams to discuss the automated testing needs of projects
Assists in the coding and maintenance of automated testing execution frameworks
Assists in the coding and maintenance of automated testing keyword driven frameworks

Required skills:

A good understanding of manual testing principles and methodologies.
Experience of using automated test tools (Selenium, QTP etc).
An understanding of IT technologies (for example Java, HTML, Database, Mainframe, C++, C, etc).
An understanding of SQL language.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience of cross training.
